Liberty Lake City Council Seat 1
"It’s essential to stop the noise and the nonsense in politics and actually have a dialogue. We must LISTEN to those who have opposing viewpoints. The polarization and discourse in this country is hurting us all and the cure starts at the local level. I’m tired of people who want to tell other people how to live. Last time I looked, this is a free country. But there are those who want to push their beliefs on others and this must be a full stop. It’s time to concentrate on shaping the rest of Liberty Lake as the city is built out. We need to keep our green spaces clean, respect the environment, welcome our new neighbors, encourage freedom and live in harmony."
Our community is growing exponentially. When Linda had her cottage built, she had a view of Mt. Spokane. That didn’t last long! We need to follow - and be mindful - of the state’s growth management act, respect the environment, all while preserving Liberty Lake’s natural beauty and open space. Smart growth, in a vibrant economy, providing opportunities for those who live here should be a key factor in all decisions.
Our local government should encourage citizen participation and listen to them! If elected I would always want to hear from you!
Build out Town Square. Our town square should be a focal point of our community, making it a family-friendly hub.
Encourage small business. No need to send Jeff Bezos to space again. Get the message out to shop local as often as possible. Our sales taxes fund almost all of our parks and over $1 million for our police department.
She does not want Liberty Lake to be a company town.
